Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

600 block Boyer Avenue. Cell phone taken July 26.

40 block South Park Street. A dump truck was stolen from a parking lot some time over the weekend. It was found on 1000 block West Chestnut Street on Monday.

100 block Newell Street. A house was entered through a second floor window. Three firearms, two computers, shotgun shells, shirts, a Social Security card and a 1992 Audi were stolen.

Zip Zone II, 419 S. Main St. Driver left without paying for gasoline.

Collisions

WW County Sheriff

1900 block South College Avenue by State Route 125. 12:40 a.m. Monday. Motorcyclist struck curb and went over embankment and was thrown from the motorcycle. Driver Lance R. Rea, 40, Touchet, received a leg injury.

Biscuit Ridge Road, east of Scott Canyon. 4 a.m. Sunday. A pickup truck being towed by a Jeep lost brakes, struck and pushed the Jeep into an embankment and broke the tow strap. One occupant jumped from the pickup truck and was struck by its tire as it went over the embankment. Another occupant remained inside and it rolled several times down the embankment. Joseph Benzel, 21, Walla Walla was transported by ambulance and Michael Von Borstel, 21, Walla Walla, was transported by private vehicle to Providence St. Mary Medical Center.

400 block North Fifth Avenue. A parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle on Thursday. The bumper was damaged.

100 block Coyote Ridge Drive. 6:55 p.m. Possible structure fire reported. It was a barbecue.
