MILTON-FREEWATER - There are two tournaments at the Milton-Freewater Municipal Golf Course here this weekend.
On Friday, Pheasants Forever, a four-person scramble, begins with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $55, which includes green fees and a dinner. The course closes to the public at 1:30 p.m. Friday and reopen at about 6 p.m. on graduated tee times.
The Lee Parr Memorial/Tadpole Tournament, on Saturday, is a benefit for the Mac-Hi golf program. The four-person scramble has an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, with a $60 fee per team, plus greens fees. For more information or to register, contact George Gillette at 541-938-7284.
