POMEROY -- A 19-year-old Kamiah, Idaho, woman is in fair condition at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center today after a one-car accident east of Pomeroy on Thursday.
Elizabeth R. Hug was eastbound on U.S. 12 when the 1992 Ford Explorer she was driving left the road, went down an embankment and struck a tree, according to Washington State Patrol reports. She was wearing a seat belt, officials said.
Hug was transported to St. Joseph's by Lifeflight.
Cause of the accident was inattention, and charges are pending, according to the report from the State Patrol.
