DAYTON -- A motorcyclist was treated and released at Dayton General Hospital following a collision between his vehicle and a car Sunday afternoon.
Shawn R. McCann, 43, of Dayton was eastbound on Main Street at 12:52 p.m. when a vehicle driven by James T. Lyle, 22, Portland, pulled out from South Fourth Street and struck McCann's motorcycle, according to Columbia County Sheriff's Office reports.
McCann received a gash on his hand.
The incident is under investigation.
