  • Precious Lopez, 14, 244 Tausick Way, was sentenced Aug. 20 on one count contempt (truancy). The sentence included 10 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, six months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Aug. 6 Lopez pleaded guilty to disobeying a lawful court order to attend school between May 12 and 17.

  • Eric J. Savage, 14, 206 W. Poplar St., was sentenced Aug. 20 on one count each first-degree burglary, second-degree assault and obstructing. The sentence included 30-40 weeks in a department of social and health services facility, credit for 85 days served, 12 months community supervision, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs, restitution to be determined. On Aug. 6 Savage pleaded guilty to entering or remaining unlawfully in a building with intent to commit a crime against a person or property therein and assaulting another with a knife on May 27 and to knowingly hindering and obstructing a police officer in his official duties on May 26.

  • Daryk C. Doyle, 16, 331 School Ave., was sentenced Aug. 20 on one count each third-degree theft and minor in possession and or consuming liquor. The sentence included 10 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, six months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs, restitution of $34.02. On Aug. 6 Doyle pleaded guilty to taking property with a value not exceeding $750 from Walmart with intent to deprive the owner of said property March 17.
