A man injured an accident early Sunday has been upgraded to serious condition today.
Timothy R. Wood, 51, Portland, had been in critical condition after a 12:16 a.m. accident Sunday in Walla Walla.
Wood had been standing near or in a bus shelter in the 1100 block of Rose Street when he was struck by a car which crashed into the shelter. He was initially treated at Providence St. Mary Medical Center then airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
The alleged driver of the vehicle, Marsha-Gaye Hogg, 33, College Place, has been charged with vehicular assault and hit and run, according to police and court reports.
