What's on my paper today?
That bright blue, square sticker on the front of your paper?
Go ahead, peel it off. It won't hurt the newspaper and the advertising on it in the future may even save you some money.
With today's trial run, the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin introduces our new Sticky Notes ad program to serve readers and advertisers. We've installed equipment to add these peel-off stickers to the newspaper from time to time.
The Sticky Notes will appear on the front page or other section fronts and publications to promote goods and services of Walla Walla Valley area businesses and organizations.
The revenue generated from this new program will help us to continue to grow the amount of local news published in the U-B -- something we've been increasingly focused on as you our loyal readers have asked for more.
We invite our current and prospective advertisers to take advantage of this affordable way to get top billing on our front page. And the ads are very convenient for readers to use since they can be easily stuck on the fridge or a shopping list.
