Lynn Hancock, 52, passed away on Dec. 1, 2010, at her home in Prescott.
The memorial funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation through the funeral home.
Lynn was born on Nov. 9, 1958, in Washington Court House, Ohio, to Emerson and Helen Pollock Beechler. She attended and graduated from Prairie Heights High School in Prairie Heights, Ind.
On Dec. 1, 1981, Lynn married Bruce Hancock in Las Vegas. Lynn loved gardening, horseback riding and home remodeling. She also enjoyed being a mother and a grandmother. She was very active and
enjoyed hiking and the outdoors.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Bruce, at the home; two daughters, Heather Hancock of Waitsburg and Daisy Hancock of Fort Bragg, Calif.; two sons, Joseph (Jamie) Hancock of Boise and Jason Hancock of College Place; two sisters, Janice Fleeger and Thelma Ryan, both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and five grandchildren, Jasynt Hancock, Jaden Baker, Killian Mackler, Arianne Hancock and Justin Hancock. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carolyn Beechler; one brother, Gene Beechler; and one grandson, Jakota Archer.
Lynn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She led a happy, joy-filled life with her loved ones. She touched many lives in her 52 years. She will be loved and remembered forever.
