Cynthia C. McKinzy, 24, 428 S. Wilbur Ave. was sentenced Nov. 22 on one count theft of telecommunication services. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $177.95 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 45 days in the county jail. On Nov. 11 McKinzy pleaded guilty to take advantage of a plea bargain.
Jonathan L. McDonald, 22, 45250 Adams Road, Pendleton, was sentenced Nov. 19 on one count possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The court dismissed seven other counts. The sentence included restitution of $5,711.28, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 50 months in the custody of the Department of Corrections, credit for 63 days served. On Nov. 15 McDonald pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle on Aug. 24.
On Nov. 18 a charge against Marcial Tiscareno Jr. was dismissed for the reason the state may be unable to prove each and every element of the crime beyond a reasonable doubt.
