WALLA WALLA -- Blue lights will signal a call to stop and prevent child abuse Dec. 20 as part of a local agency's campaign. Children's Home Society of Washington is holding the "Blue Candles of Hope" campaign as a way to show support for victims of child abuse.
The agency is selling votive candles for $5, and glass jar candles for $15, with proceeds going to support child-abuse-prevention programs locally. Free luminaries are also available.
