UMATILLA - Weston-McEwen's girls finished off a 1-2 showing at the Columbia River Clash here Saturday with a 52-29 loss to Pilot Rock.
The TigerScots are now 1-3 overall.
Pilot Rock jumped out to a 15-4 lead after one quarter and never looked back and extended the advantage to 33-12 by halftime.
The Rockets' Jordan Jeppe led all scorers with 11 points.
"This was a better finish than last year," said W-M coach Amber Doremus, whose team went 0-3 in last year's Clash. "They (Pilot Rock) have five seniors. They are the favorite to win the (Blue Mountain Conference)."
