Burbank girls rebound with win over Liberty Christian

BURBANK - The Burbank girls picked up a win over visiting Liberty Christian Tuesday.

The Coyotes handed the Patriots a 44-39 defeat.

"It was a very close game throughout," said Burbank coach John Muchlinski. "It was nice to get a win after a couple of tough losses."

The Coyotes are 2-3 in preseason play.

Sarah Rude led Burbank

with 19 points on the night.

She had eight rebounds and one 3.

The Coyotes open league play Friday at Kiona-Benton.

"Hopefully we can use the momentum from this game to propel us forward," Muchlinski said.
