Dog obedience clinic planned for youths, adults

WALLA WALLA -- A dog obedience clinic for youths and adults will start with an introductory meeting at the WSU Extension office on Jan. 8 and hands-on training sessions the following five Saturdays. Dogs must be four months old or older. Dogs with bad flea problems or dogs that show aggression to others will not be permitted.

Register for the 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. introductory class is required.

At this meeting, participants will be required to show proof of up-to-date DHLP, parvo, rabies and bordetella immunizations. Dogs should not be brought to the introductory meeting.

Sessions with the dogs will be at Haute Dog Pet Resort, 1177 Abadie St. There is a $10, nonrefundable fee per dog. The registration deadline is Jan. 4. Late registrations will be $25 if space is available.
