BOARDMAN - Mac-Hi got blown out of the (figurative) water in a 61-29 loss to Riverside's Pirates Saturday.

The Pirates sported a balanced scoring attack, with two notching double-figures from the floor.

"We get Riverside at home in a week or two," said Mac-Hi coach Sean Oliver. "It will be a different story."

Ricky Angel led the Pioneers with 15 points and was 5-of-11 shooting from downtown.

"Ricky Angel is a big tough kid," Oliver said. "He's tough to guard and is a shooter."

The Pioneers are now 2-5 in pre-season. They host Waitsburg-Prescott at 7:30 Tuesday.
