Former Walla Wallan Micky Reginald Jennings and Amy Lynn Nicola, both of Omaha, Neb., wed Nov. 6, 2010, at St. John's Parish, Creighton University, Omaha. The Rev. Bert Thelen, S.J., officiated.
The groom is the son of Rocky and Debbi Jennings of Walla Walla. He graduated in 1997 from Walla Walla High School and in 1999 from Walla Walla Community College, with a degree in tool and die machining. He works for Wilkinson Industries, Fort Calhoun, Neb.
The bride is the daughter of Ben and Jan Nicola of Fremont, Neb. She graduated in 2004 from Bergan High School in Fremont; in 2008 from Regis University, Denver, with a degree in neuroscience; and is studying for her doctorate in occupational therapy at Creighton University.
The bride's honor attendant was John Nicola. Bernie Nicola and Clare Mueller were her other attendants. The groom's honor attendant was Shaunna Jennings. His other attendants were Lissy Nicola and Molly Colgan. Cian Lynch was ring bearer and the mothers of the bride and groom were candle lighters.
The bride and groom rode down the aisle on a bicycle built for two.
Receptions were Nov. 6 in Omaha and Nov. 26 at Assumption Catholic Church in Walla Walla.
The couple honeymooned along Highway 1 in Southern California. They live in Omaha.
