Vivian Wild passed away at the Odd Fellows Home on December 18, 2010, after a short battle with a stroke at the age of 98. She and her husband, Norris, had been long time residents of Dayton where they farmed and raised their family. Vivian was born in Walla Walla and
after marriage had moved to Dixie, Jasper Mountain, Waitsburg, and then to Dayton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris; mother, Leona Arledge of Dixie; her sister, Icy MacKay of Milton-Freewater; brothers: Wesley Mace and Eddie Arledge of Walla Walla; and a son, Jack Wild of West Virginia. She is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Wyckoff of Walla Walla; a son, Mike Wild of Spokane, Washington; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
