Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

  • 700 block Country Club Road. Mail theft some time this week.

MF Police

  • 700 block South Mill Street. Residence entered, jewelry taken.

Umatilla County Sheriff

  • Lincton Mountain Road, Weston. Dark Green 2000 Toyota Tundra stolen.


WW Police

  • 1700 block East Isaacs Avenue. 1:51 p.m. Dec. 21. Driver changed lanes and struck the vehicle in that lane.
  • West Rose Street and North 12th Avenue. 10:49 a.m. Dec. 21. Rear-end collision, two vehicles. Ice and snow may have been a factor.

Washington State Patrol

  • U.S. Highway 12 and Wilbur Avenue. 5:15 p.m. Pedestrian entered roadway in front of a pickup truck traveling eastbound at Wilbur Avenue. Pedestrian, Joseph B. Aichele, 13, taken to Providence St. Mary Medical Center.

Umatilla County Sheriff

  • Highway 11, Weston. 6:50 a.m. today. Vehicle went off the road into a ditch.

Fire, Ambulance runs

WW Fire Dept.

  • North Wilbur Avenue and East Highway 12. 5:14 p.m. Tuesday. Assist Ambulance crew with motor vehicle accident.

WW Ambulance

  • West Pine Street and North 13th Avenue. 4:46 p.m. Tuesday. Two car collision. No transports.
  • North Wilbur Avenue and U.S. Highway 12. 5:14 p.m. Tuesday. Vehicle struck pedestrian. A 13-year old boy transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center.
