Bulldog girls pick up first win of season at own Christmas tournament

DAYTON - Dayton's girls picked up their first basketball win of the season with a 45-28 victory over Lacrosse-Washtucna in the Dayton Christmas Tournament Wednesday.

The victory moves Dayton to 1-6 on the season and into the championship game with Kiona-Benton at 5:15 p.m. today.

"This is our first game with everybody healthy since we started playing," said Dayton coach Scott Hudson. "So that was really kind of nice. It was a great performance from everyone, and I think it made a big difference. Their attitudes and efforts were incredible. They worked hard."
