WALLA WALLA -- Water banking will be on the agenda Tuesday for a meeting of the Walla Walla Watershed Management Partnership.
Partnership members will meet at 7 p.m. at the William A. Grant Water and Environmental Center, 500 Tausick Way, at Walla Walla Community College.
A status report on water banking, which would allow water right holders to "bank" water instead of using their full allotment, will be discussed. Partnership board officers will also be elected.
A final item will be a presentation by Bob Bower of the Walla Walla Basin Watershed Council on the monitoring, assessment and recharge components of the Watershed Management Initiative Program.
