PRESCOTT -- The Prescott Joint Park and Recreation Board of directors will hold a special meeting Thursday at 6 p.m. at 101 S. D Street, Suite A. Purpose of the meeting is to review the budget, which was revised after a $160,000 replacement maintenance and operation levy failed in November.

Without the levy funds, the park and recreation district will not be able to open the swimming pool or run a recreation program during the summer,

Pool facilities have been "put to bed," Adams said.

The park and recreation board will try to keep the park watered, she said.

The board will meet again Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. for their regularly monthly meeting.
