WALLA WALLA - U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers will be in Walla Walla on Monday.
McMorris Rodgers will begin her visit at 10:30 a.m. with a meeting with members of The Moms Network at the Walla Walla Public Library, 238 E. Alder St.
She will then go to the Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference Center, 6 W. Rose St., for meetings with the Blue Mountain Action Council and lunch with the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce.
At 1:30 p.m. McMorris Rodgers will be at the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 77 Wainwright Drive, for an update on construction of a new outpatient facility and the Enhanced Use Lease proposal.
At 3 p.m. she will meet with Bill Clemens, general manager of Pacific Power, who is also chairman of the Region X Workforce Development Council and the Dayton Chamber and Economic Development Council.
