WALLA WALLA - At least three homes were prowled Sunday night after suspects kicked the front doors in, authorities said.

The Walla Walla Police Department and Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office are each investigating cases that were reported starting at 12:22 a.m.

In the first call, a resident in the 800 block of Wellington Avenue reported waking up after hearing the home's front door being forced open, said WWPD Officer Tim Bennett in a news release.

At 1:54 a.m., a second call was made to authorities from a resident in the 1200 block of Studebaker Drive, again with reports of the front door being forced open.

Within a few minutes, a third call was made to the Sheriff's Office about a home on Dresden Court having the front door kicked in.

All three homes suffered substantial damage to the front doors and frames, although nothing was apparently taken from the houses, according to the news release.

No suspect or suspect vehicle information was available. Residents in these neighborhoods who may have heard or seen something suspicious late Sunday or early Monday are asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 524-5400 or the Police Department at 527-4434 or 527-1960 after business hours.
