Watershed Council announces Oregon Arbor Poster Contest


MILTON-FREEWATER -- The Walla Walla Basin Watershed Council's announced today the 2010 Oregon Arbor Poster Contest to help local children and teachers gain awareness of Oregon's trees and their importance to the well being of our watershed.

The contest is open to students in grade 5-8 within the Walla Walla Watershed in Oregon. The council will choose three entries for prizes of $25, $15 and$10. The winning entries will be displayed at the Council's office, 810 S. Main St. and at www.wwbwc.org. The deadline is March 13.
