ROSALIA - Touchet's girls mounted a furious comeback in the second half, but fell short in a 50-48 season-ending Southeast 1B District loser-out game to Rosalia here on Monday.
The Indians trailed 12-8 after one quarter and 24-15 at halftime.
They battled back to trail by four points, 34-30 after three quarters.
They cut the gap to two points in the fourth, but couldn't completely overcome the deficit.
Zoe Weaver led the Indians with at points, nine rebounds and five steals.
Touchet's Emily Huesby led all rebounders with 12.
Katelyn Maley led the Spartans with a game-high 20 points, and she pulled down 10 rebounds. Briann Maley grabbed 10 rebounds for Rosalia.
"We'll, we're done," Touchet coach Scott Pumphrey said. "But I'm proud of the girls.
"As a coach, each year you want to win more games than you did last year," he said. "Last year, we won five games, and this year we won nine.
"So, we're getting better every year," Pumphrey continued. "This is a tough league with some strong programs. I'm proud of the way the girls handled themselves all year."
Pumphrey will lose four players from the squad, including Zoe Weaver, Lisa Pedroza, ReAna Butler and Hailey Owens.
"They've been a big part of the program, and we will miss them," Pumphrey said.
The Indians finish the season with a 9-11 overall record.
