Contra dance to be held Saturday at Unity Church

A traditional, old-time contra dance will be 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Unity Church building, 810 C St., near the Walla Walla Airport

Contras, squares and other dances will be taught by callers Howard Ostby and Dan Clark. No experience is necessary. Instruction for beginners starts at 7 p.m. Live music will be provided by the Wednesday Night Band. Please no lug boots or narrow heel shoes. Participants are asked to bring finger foods; apple cider is provided. Admission is $5, or $3 for WWFAM members. As always, the public is welcome.

Here are directions:
From Highway 12 going East, take the Port of Walla Walla/Regional Airport exit. At the bottom of off-ramp turn left. At the first stop sign turn right onto Douglas Street, then turn left at second intersection onto "C" Street. The dance is in the third building on right.
