Telander Studio Gallery will host an exhibition of student paintings at the Telander Art School, 229 E. Alder. There will be a reception 5-7 p.m. Friday.

Students of all ages and backgrounds will display their oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolors depicting landscapes, still life and the figure. The show will continue through March 30.

The Telander Art School a community-based art school available to students of all experience levels and ages. Taught by professional artist Todd Telander, students learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting with encouragement to develop their own individual style of expression.

Classes are available in six-week sessions that meet twice a week.
