The Walla Walla Union-Bulletin publishes news of quinceaneras, engagements, weddings, silver anniversaries and each five-year anniversary after the 25th in the Celebrations section of Panorama on Sundays. After the 50th anniversary, coverage is provided annually. Please observe the following requirements:

Announcements are for couples who live within our circulation area or who are (at least one of the individuals) former area residents.

Forms to submit information are available at the U-B's main or newsroom reception desks, 112 S. First Ave., or online at www.union-bulletin.com; Mann's House of Brides, 525 E. Main St., Walla Walla; Milton-Freewater Library, 8 S.W. Eighth Ave.; and Nature Garden Florist & Gifts, 101 W. Broadway Ave., Milton-Freewater.

Forms must include the signature of the person submitting the information. Wedding forms must list the state and county in which the license was issued.

The submission deadline is noon Tuesday prior to the Sunday of publication.

Engagement announcements must be received in time to publish at least one week prior to the wedding.

Wedding announcements more than one month old will be abbreviated. Stories between two to four months old will be abbreviated and published in the Sunday Etcetera column. Stories older than four months will not be accepted.

Anniversaries should be published before they occur, but will be printed up to two months after the date of the event.

First names are required for all those whose names are listed.

To be published, recently taken current photos must be sharply focused and of commercial quality. The U-B reserves the right to refuse a picture for publication if reproduction quality is poor. Photos sent electronically must be in .jpg or .tif format with 300 dpi resolution.

Photos and forms may be brought to the Union-Bulletin office, 112 S. First Ave., mailed to Celebrations Writer, Walla Walla Union-Bulletin, P.O. Box 1358, Walla Walla, WA 99362, or e-mailed to newsdept@wwub.com.
