WALLA WALLA - An information meeting for potential host families for the Walla Walla Sweets baseball team will run from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Banker Boyer Bank conference room.
"Host families - families that open up their homes for the summer to the players like families that share their homes with exchange students - are an essential piece to helping our players feel a part of this great community," said team manager J.C. Biagi.
Host families for the Sweets receive benefits including a family pass and a special night at the ballpark.
In addition to providing a room for a player, host families help with transportation and feed the players when they're in town.
