BAKER CITY - Baker defeated Mac-Hi, 53-27, in a loser-out girls district basketball playoff game here on Tuesday.
The Pioneers ended their season with a 9-16 record.
Baker advances to the Class 4A Oregon state playoffs.
Sierra Burchell and Andrea Roeder led the Pioneers with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Avery Wells led Mac-Hi with nine rebounds.
McKenzie Warner led the Bulldogs with 17 points
Baker took a 15-6 first-quarter lead and never trailed.
"We beat them last week by 12," Mac-Hi coach Curtis Pumphrey said. "We may have had a case of playoff jitters. We turned the ball over on our first five possessions, and we got behind in a hurry."
Pumphrey will lose four seniors from this year's team, including his two top scorers in Burchell and Roeder, to graduation.
"We have a great youth program, but we'll have to do a lot of work this summer," Pumphrey said.
