DaleRae "Dale" Dillman, 514 N.W. 4th Ave., Milton-Freewater, 55, passed away Feb. 25, 2010, at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Milton-Freewater Senior Center on Monday, March 1, 2010, from 2-4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family of Dale Dillman through the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S. Main, Milton-Freewater.
Dale was born Jan. 1, 1955, in Kalispell, Mont., the daughter of Marion S. and Denise I. Cowin Dillman. She grew up around Kalispell and Great Falls. In 1968 she moved to Milton-Freewater and finished her school years, graduating from McLoughlin Union High School in 1973. She later went to college in Klamath Falls and Portland. Dale then moved back to Milton-Freewater and worked at various jobs including a cocktail waitress at the TeePee, packing houses, Horizon Project, and for the M-F Senior Center. Between jobs, she moved back to Montana and worked in a group home taking care of handicapped people. Dale enjoyed cooking and doing crafts.
She is survived by a daughter, Allysyn Dillman, of Walla Walla; son, Trystyn Dillman, of Lakeland, Fla.; two brothers, Ronald Denney, of Augusta, Mont., and Jack Denney, of Conrad, Mont.; three sisters, Sharon Jung of Mollala, Ore., Sande Carr of Great Falls, TerriLei Cosgrove, of Milton-Freewater; two grandchildren, Terryn (Dillman) Jones, of Portland, , Elizabeth Johnson, of Walla Walla; close friends and caregivers, Ray and Betty Hasbell of Milton-Freewater, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
