Hair to serve on farm committee

A Walla Walla wheat farmer is one of five appointees chosen to serve on the Washington Farm Service Agency State Committee.

Steve Hair will serve on the committee that oversees the agency's activities, including carrying out state agricultural conservation programs, resolving appeals from the agriculture community and keeping producers informed about FSA programs.

Hair is a former member and chair of the Walla Walla FSA County Committee. He also served as president of the Walla Walla Association of Wheat Growers.
