MISSION, Ore. — Isaiah Case scored 37 points here Tuesday night as Nixyaawii doubled up Helix 76-32 in a boys Big Sky Conference Eastern Division basketball game.

Case sank 16 field goals, including a pair of 3-pointers, and connected on 3-of-4 free throws as he single-handedly outscored the Grizzlies.

"He’s just a super talented kid," first-year Helix coach Gene Heliker said of the Golden Eagles’ scoring star. "His strength is moving without the ball. He’s very difficult to defend. And when he has the ball, he penetrates and scores.

"And Nixyaawii runs a very effective run-and-shoot game."

Joe Crawford was also in double figures for the Golden Eagles with 12 points. Grant McMurray led Helix with 12.

The Grizzlies record dipped to 0-12 on the season. Helix is 0-3 in the East heading into a Friday night home game against Condon-Wheeler followed by a Saturday night road game against Central Christian in Prineville.
