PASCO — Tri-Cities Prep point guard Will Hoppes was "unconscious" here Friday night, according to Touchet coach Tim McKeown.

Hoppes scored 27 points to lead the Jaguars to a 46-35 victory over the Indians in a battle of Southeast B District Southern Division boys basketball foes.

The loss dropped Touchet to 1-3 in league and 6-5 overall heading into a Saturday night home game with Colton.

Jake Hodnefield led the Indians with 10 points.

"We were just rushing things," McKeown said. "We weren’t patient at all. It was a frustrating game to watch. We’re a better team, but they (the players) have got to discipline themselves — they’ve got to be more confident.

"A lot of times, we were just out of control," McKeown said. "Hoppes had a good night. It seemed like everything he threw up was going in. He’d drive to the middle and do a stop-and-pop. He was consistent through the four quarters."
