STANFIELD, Ore. — Allysa Sobotta tallied 19 points as Stanfield upended Weston-McEwen, 45-29, in a Blue Mountain Conference girls basketball game here Friday night.

Makayla Christopher scored eight points for the TigerScots, now 0-3 in league and 1-11 overall. Shaelin Youncs added seven points for Weston-McEwen.

"We just have to find a better start," said Weston-McEwen coach Amber Doremus, whose team trailed 14-4 after the first quarter. "We took a lot of shots ... they just didn’t go in."

Point guard Morgan Entze was taken to the hospital after possibly suffering a shoulder dislocation, Doremus said.

"We had trouble getting into our offense," Doremus said of a third quarter in which the TigerScots scored just two points.
