Area resident Dorothy Irene Hawker, 96, passed away on December 19, 2009 at the Washington Odd Fellows Home, 534 Boyer Avenue.
At her request, there will be no service. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Hawker was born in Joseph, Oregon, on Sept. 13, 1913, to Charles and Eula Peebler Daugherty. She graduated from Pasco High School in 1932. She married Elmer A. Hawker on Feb. 14, 1933. Mr. Hawker died in 1981. She is survived by two grandchildren , Kim Dillhoff of Milwaukie , OR (Paul Dillhoff ), and three great grandchildren, (Robbie, Alex, and Katie) and Sherri Zoller (Phil Zoller) of Kennewick, and a niece, Evelyn Kelly of Bothell, WA. Dorothy also had an extended family: Richard and Bette Lauzon of Walla Walla and Rich and Cheryl Beck of Spokane.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Evan Hawker, in 2003 and a sister, Anna Kelly.
