The Children's Museum of Walla Walla, 77 Wainwright Drive, has special events taking place in January.

Today at 3:30 is "Laugh with Lacey." Lacey will read stories from the museum's new books. This program is free with museum admission.

At 2 p.m. Friday the Blue Mountain Humane Society will stop by with furry friends for an Adopt-A-Thon.

The "Music Make and Take" workshop will be 10 a.m. Jan. 22. Kids can make a unique musical instrument out of everyday objects to take home and play with again and again. Admission for members is $5.25 and $7.25 for nonmembers. This fee includes play time.

At 3:30 p.m. Jan. 28 Lacey returns with another round of "Laugh with Lacey" book and story readings. This is free with admission.

Participants in workshops must be pre-registered 24 hours prior to each workshop of interest so the instructor can have enough supplies on hand. For more information, Call 526-7529.
