Kolvane, the band formerly known as the Rose City Kings, will play 8:30 p.m.-midnight Jan. 29 at CrossRoads Steakhouse, 201 E. Rees Ave.
Portland-based Kolvane tours the West Coast, creating an original sound that combines Delta and Chicago blues traditions.
Dan "Kolvane" Berkery the creator and driving force behind the two-time Muddy Award-winning Rose City Kings, is lead man. The band's single "Cool Baby" from their 2008 release "Kill These Blues" was No. 1 two months straight on Cashbox's Blues singles chart and continued to hold a top position through spring 2009.
