McLeod to speak at annual BM Audubon Society meeting


Local writer and storyteller Sam McLeod will provide the program for Blue Mountain Audubon's annual "Books and Birds" public meeting at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 21 in Gaiser Auditorium, Hall of Science, on the Whitman College campus.

McLeod, the author of four books on life in Walla Walla, will describe his most recent work as well as birding experiences at his Detour Farm.

In addition to this presentation, a variety of books on birding and nature will be available for sale at the meeting from Earthlight Books.¬

The program is free and open to the public. Parking is available next to the building just off Isaacs Avenue.
