Carol Bratton died at her home on December 31, 2009, in Spokane, Washington. Carol was born in Tacoma, Washington, on April 28, 1945, to Leonard and Viola Pruss. Carol graduated from Wa-Hi in 1963. In 1967 she graduated from Central Washington State College in Ellensburg. She received her master’s in education in San Diego in 1990. She taught school for 25 years in Fremont, CA. Carol was a wonderful teacher and received accolades in her teaching career. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1984. Carol is survived by her father at the home, World War II Veteran Leonard A. Pruss, her sisters M.J. Tamplin and Rosanne Daniel of Walla Walla, WA. Her brothers Len Pruss of Stockton, California and Terry Pruss of Ashburn, Virgina. Her 5 nieces Heather, Nicole, Keri, Amber, and Patti, and 1 nephew J.J. and 2 special friends in Spokane Tom Gray and Karen Coble. Donations may be made under Carol’s name to the Evergreen Club 2102 E. Sprague, WA. 99202. The Memorial Service was held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Spokane Cremation. She loved her family and will be missed very much!!!
