Coyote girls ride ‘solid' effort past River View

FINLEY, Wash. — Tiffany Idler and Nicole Roberts combined to score 37 of their team’s 47 points in a 47-37 girls South Central Conference Eastern Division basketball victory over River View here Saturday night.

Idler led the way with 22 points on 9-for-14 shooting from the field. Roberts finished with 15 points and also hauled down a team-high 11 rebounds as the Coyotes improved to 12-1 on the year and 5-0 in the division.

"It was a solid game for us," Burbank coach John Muchlinski said. "Nothing too fancy or flashy. We just played solid basketball."

The Coyotes will try to maintain their winning ways on Friday when they entertain Connell in a SCC East counter.
