Mae Alice Patrick, 103, Jan. 18, 2010, at the Booker Rest Home. Funeral services will be 11a.m., Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at the First Christian Church in Dayton with Pastors Jim Edwards and Greg Brownell officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in the Dayton City Cemetery. Mae was born March 10, 1906, on Anatone Flats in Asotin County, Wash. Her parents were Benjamin and Belzina Forgey Moody. She came to the Dayton area with her parents at a young age and attended the Columbia School. In September of 1925 she married Bertle Patrick in a ceremony held in Dayton. Except for a short time in Wenatchee they spent their life in and around Dayton. They bought a place west of Dayton and she resided there until moving to the rest home a few years ago. Her husband died on Jan. 11, 1975.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and various other clubs and organizations.
She enjoyed cooking and spending time at the Jim Creek cabin.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Ileen Patrick, Richard and Elaine Patrick, all of Dayton; one sister, Esther Martin of Clarkston; grandchildren, Ilene and her husband Tony Osborne of Irrigon, Ore., Robin and her husband Paul Edwards of Spokane; Holly and her husband Ken Allen of Electric City; seven great-grandchildren, Robert and Dwight Osborne, Amanda and Andrew Edwards, Jason and Jamie Allen; seven great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson, Perry Patrick; a great grandson, Duane Osborne; two brothers, three sisters and many nieces and nephews and friends.
