April 17, 1927 - Jan. 16, 2010
Margaret Ann Streamer passed away peacefully in her home early Saturday morning, Jan. 16, 2010. She was 82 years old. She was born April 17, 1927, in Yakima and was raised in Ellensburg.
While attending nursing school, she met Pat Streamer at a USO club and they married soon after she graduated. They lived the majority of their lives in Walla Walla.
Some of her passions included square dancing, sewing, her church and playing cards, but most of all her family and friends were her passion. She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, always involved with anything her children were doing, such as Campfire Girls, Boy Scouts, horses, baseball, music, etc.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Pat, 12 years earlier. Survived by sister, Gertrude McCullough, Ellensburg; daughter, Chris McCloud and husband Jeff; son, Chuck and wife Donna Streamer; daughter, Charlotte and husband Karl Shepard; three grandsons, Scott Doyle, Mark and Sam Shepard; two great-grandsons, Scott and Dylan Doyle. She also has many family members in Denmark that she remained in close touch with.
A special thank you to those many friends that loved and cared for her over the years.
Services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 1420 S. 2nd, Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at 11 a.m.
