PALOUSE — Karlie Martin scored 14 points here Friday night and visiting Pomeroy hit six free throws in the final 30 seconds to post a 35-30 victory over Garfield-Palouse in a Southeast B District Northern Division girls basketball game.
HayLee Koller added nine points and eight rebounds for the Pirates.
"Karlie had a good offensive game and HayLee had a well-rounded game," Pomeroy coach Nettie Severs said. "It was a battle."
The Vikings’ Kaycie Adair led all scorers with 22 points.
