WALLA WALLA -- The Walla Walla School Board will meet Tuesday to hold a special meeting and work session followed by an executive session.
The first meeting, a work session, will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the home of school board member Anne Golden, at 1107 Pleasant St. Members will discuss board committee assignments for 2010, their calendar, the 2010-11 budget, superintendent evaluation suggestions, and a general review of school board operating protocol.
The work session is open to the public.
At 6 p.m., the board will break into executive session until about 7 p.m. to evaluate the qualification of an applicant for public employment. Executive sessions are not open to the public, but decisions or actions regarding the discussion will be made in a public meeting.
