Helen Gordon Schramm of Walla Walla Washington passed away Friday, January 22nd at her home at the age of 84. A memorial service was held today at Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a longtime faithful member.
Though she had many jobs in her life her career working at the John Deere Dealership in Walla Walla was
what she will be remembered for. The customers that she assisted knew she would get the job done and appreciated her smiling face and Friday night "Happy Hours". Through her membership in Epsilon Sigma Alpha International she was able to support St Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital and the Local Multiple Sclerosis Support Group which were her passion. Helen was proceeded in death by her parents William and Francis Mills, husband Donald Schramm, and sister Enid Barrettu.
She is Survived by: Her son James Schramm and wife Karen of Bandon, OR, Daughter Ruth Hamilton of Walla Walla, WA, 5 Grandchildren, Abby Olin, Todd Olin, Geoff Schramm and wife Trisha, Maia Schramm and Hannah Hamilton. 3 Great Grandchildren,Rowen Olin, Aidan Schramm Olivia Schramm. her brother Paul Mills and wife Joyce, and Sister Barbara Axt and husband Gil, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Contributions can be made to St Judes, the local MS support group or Trinity Lutheran Church. Our heartfelt thanks to all our family, neighbors, and friends who have been with us during the loss of Helen. The calls, visits, food, flowers, donations, hugs and concern will never be forgotten.
