Imbler boys jump out to early lead, down Helix, 66-22

IMBLER — Imbler jumped out to a 21-3 lead on its way to a 66-22 boys basketball victory over Helix here Tuesday.

Helix is now 0-17 on the season.

Logan Swaggart led the Grizzlies with 13 points.

"They were very well coached," Helix coach Gene Heliker said of the Panthers. "They executed very well."

The Grizzlies played without their top defender, the 6-foot-5 Grant McMurray and point guard Swaggart played with an injured ankle.

Helix returns to action against Dufer in Helix at 7 p.m. Friday.
