Outlaws leave W-M with Blue Mountain victory

ATHENA — Weston-McEwen stayed with Enterprise in the first half here Friday night but lost contact in the second as the Outlaws pulled away to a 59-33 girls Blue Mountain Conference basketball victory.

The visitors built a 14-9 lead after one quarter, but the TigerScots narrowed the difference to four points, 22-18, at the intermission. The Outlaws broke the game open by outscoring Weston-McEwen 17-8 in the third quarter and continued to pad their lead over the game’s final eight minutes.

Summer Despain led Enterprise with 16 points and Sydney Porter paced the TigerScots with 10 points.
