Walla Walla Valley author Bodie Parkhurst will sign copies of her latest novel, "Good on Paper," at Hastings Books, Music and Video, 617 S. Ninth Ave., noon-3 p.m. Saturday.
The book, which explores an abusive, devout home from the inside out, is a quarter-finalist for the Amazon Breakout Novel Award. Parkhurst has written and illustrated several picture books, and one novel, "Redeeming Stanley," won Best of the Best E-books in 2009.
