Openings remain for Symphony's Rock 'n' Roll Camp

This year's Walla Walla Symphony's Rock 'n' Roll Camp has a few more openings for young, wannabe rock stars.

In its second season, the event is free to those ages 12-18. The day camp, at Lincoln Alternative High School, begins Aug. 2 and culminates with a concert Aug. 6. Participants can learn musicianship, rock photography, art and journalism, event presentation and sound and stage management. Campers do not need to know how to play an instrument.

Enrollment forms are available at the Symphony offices at 131/2 E. Main St. Suite 201, Hot Poop, Blazing Guitars and Melody Muffler. For details call 529-8020.
