MONDAY

fairgrounds: Award contract for fire suppression system in kitchen at fairgrounds Community Building.

festival: Proposal from Walla Walla Sweet Onion Festival to use Walla Walla County Courthouse lawn on July 17-18.

stormwater: Public hearing on establishment of stormwater fee schedule to be based on amount of impervious surface on property parcels. Action on item may follow. Hearing scheduled for 10:30 a.m. during time for Public Works Department.

personnel: Approve revision to county personnel policies and operations manual.

buildings: Agreement for building inspection services between county and city of Walla Walla.

workshop: Continuation of June 22 workshop to review proposed amendments to county codes pertaining to buildings and construction. Possible action or direction to staff may follow. Matter scheduled for 1:30 p.m. during time for Community Development Department.

TUESDAY

Workshop: Review of state Office of Management and Budget circular on cost allocation plan for federal awards carried out through grants and other agreements. No formal action to be taken.

COLLEGE PLACE

When: 7 p.m. Monday.

Where: College Place City Hall, 625 S. College Ave.

wastewater plant: Award engineering contract for energy efficiency project at wastewater treatment plant.

roofing: Award contract for roofing repairs to Public Works Department office building and City Hall annex building.

DAYTON CITY COUNCIL

When: Monday, 7 p.m.

Where: City Hall, 111 S. First St.

HEARINGS: Hold public hearing on the proposed ATV ordinance. Will request continuance to next regular meeting. Also hold hearing on the 2011-2016 6-year transportation improvement plan.

LIBRARY: Hear report by Janet Lyons of the Columbia County Rural Library District.

CHAMBER: Hear report by Dayton Chamber of Commerce Director Lisa Ronnberg regarding second-quarter tourism.

NIMS: Consider resolution to adopt the National Incident Management System.

LEASE: Consider land lease agreement for city's use of property owned by Watkins Development.

ATHENA-WESTON SCHOOL BOARD

When: Monday, 7 p.m. An executive session to be held 6:45 p.m.

Where: Athena Elementary, 375 S. Fifth St.

UPDATE: Update from Superintendent Jerry Copeland on summer facilities projects and on classroom instructional technology updates.

PERSONNEL: Consider hire recommendations for classified, certified and fall sports volunteer positions.

OFFICERS: Elect board officers for upcoming school year and review board committee appointments.

DESIGNATE: Consider designating people and institutions to specific positions, including insurance agent of record, newspaper of record, auditors, finance officers, legal council and financial institutions.

LUNCH: Consider update to school lunch prices. Prices will go up 25 cents.

CAMP: Consider approval of football camp.

Milton-Freewater City Council

When: Monday 7 p.m.

Where: 8 S.W. Eighth Ave, Public Library Albee Room.

LANDFILL PURCHASE: Used CAT 963B Track Loader from Portland Tractor for $28,375.

Utility meters: Approve bid to ElectSolve Technology Solutions for new meters, not to exceed $57,000.

SURPLUS: Various working and non-working transformers to be declared surplus.
